Design of Double Page Spread
This is the design for my double page spread it include lots of text and some images and has filled up most of the space. The questions are short but detailed and as so are the answers. I have chosen to do the questions in red and the answers in white so they stand out.

This is my Design for my Contents page it is basic but readable. There is enough information to guide you through the magazine. The text is clear and easy to read and is very directive. The sentences are long and boring there short and snappy with a page number following.
Design of Improved Front Cover
Here is the second attempt of my front cover design. I have changed all the text to either white or red so it is more readable when on the images. I have also changed the text size and its style and turned them all into capital letters. Also before my front cover was very busy so I made the text a little bigger and got rid of some of it.

Draft of Front Cover
This is the first draft of my front cover it is at a basic level at the moment but I will enhance it and make some modifications. Some of the text will be changed and maybe experiment with another picture as the background.
My Intentions
My intentions for my front cover is to desgn it so it appeals to both male and female. In order to do this I will use colours like white and blue which are unisex colours. The bands featured will appeal to both male and female even though I have a male on the front the smaller pictures on the front will feature girls.
The contents page must be easy to read and follow.People should just be able to find the page that they want ver easily. Each picture will have the page number and whats ist for underneath.
The double page spread will be of a interview of a band or singer. In my case it is one single person. I will have pictures surrounding the text and it wont just be loads of writing because I know that people will just get bored easily.

My research of 3 Magazines : Kerrang. Q and NME
I have made this blog so that I can research other magzines in the market. I have done this so I can get some ideas from them and help me find out what makes a good magazine. I have researched three that are all rock magazines because this is the genre I have chosen. I have researched three front covers form each magazine, three contents pages and three double page spreads. I have to desig and complete a front cover, a contents page and a double page spread. I have done research so that I dont get stuck on ideas for them.
I have found out that the mostly use the colours red white and black which can appeal to both men and women and they also look like they are more aimed at people in their teens and above. Along with my research I ahve done a questionaire to help me get a understanding on what people want.
